Every festival-goer knows the feeling. You come home with 60+ clips, photos of stages, blurry videos with incredible audio, random selfies with strangers who became friends for three hours. It's all there: somewhere in your camera roll, mixed in with screenshots, food photos, and accidental pocket recordings.
Within a week, you can't find anything. Within a month, the details are fuzzy. Within a year, those moments are effectively gone.
In the crowd: no typing
Here's what saving a moment looks like in Chord:
- Film the moment (you're already doing this).
- Chord names the song from your clip. If it can't, add it in two taps.
- If you want, write one line about why the moment mattered.
- Add a mood to any moment later.
That's it. No typing in the crowd. The moment is kept with its song, filed under the night, and easy to find again.
Before the festival: start a Night
Open Chord before the gates open. Start a Night for the festival, such as "Sunburn 2026" or "Tomorrowland Day 1", and switch on Festival Mode so every capture files itself under it. Share the Night link or its QR code with your crew. Now everyone's clips and songs land in one shared Night instead of five camera rolls.
After the festival: find it by song, artist or place
Three weeks later, you want the moment the bass dropped in the closing set. Open Chord and search the artist, the song or the place. There it is: the clip, the song, the line you wrote at 2am: "This is the one." You're back.
Then post the night
When you want to share it, make a Night Card: one 9:16 card with your hero moment, how many moments and songs you caught, and your crew's top three songs. One tap sends it to Instagram Stories. Nothing is public unless you post it.
