# Chord

> Chord is the app for live music. Users capture the moment AND the song at every festival, gig and club night — a 30-second snapshot tied to the track that was playing — and the app turns their nights out into a living soundtrack they can relive forever, resurfaced through anniversaries, mood patterns, and AI-assisted reflection. Launching Summer 2026 on iOS and Android.

Chord is private by default — there is no public feed, and only the people who were actually there can see a memory. Memories are encrypted at the application layer (AES-256-GCM with authenticated additional data) for sensitive fields. Music data is editorial only; we never sell or share user content.
